Hi Vishnu,

The problem is only with the updation, its technical problem.

or

Number range problem only if it synchronous between Equipment  and  Device (serial number).

If it is internal number for serial number u wont get the number range problem.

ex: Synchronous

       Device : 100

      Equipment :100

Asynchronous

Device : 1

Equipment :100

Any way check the number range Synchronous or Asynchronous.

I think this will help you.

regards,

Nags

Hi vishnu,

This problem arises due to serial numbers.

If the serial number which was generated by the system was already existed for another equipment this problem comes.

Solution:

1. Find which is the highest equipment number present in the table : EQUI or goto iq04 enter material number and press enter you can see last serial number.

2. Find out the current number corresponding to equipment category, you can see in T.code:OIEN

3. Change the current number to highest number found in EQUI table or iq04.

I hope problem solves,

Regards,

sai vishnu.

Hi Vishnu Mohan,

First check if you have the rights/access to change the Number Range.

If have access but still not helpful- check whether your selected number range is assigned to the group- You can check it in Overview option.

Hope this will a way ahead to you.

Regards

Sachin
