hi Dear GURU'S I am facing this issue while posting fpe1 for any manual transaction  "Segment not allowed as distribution characteristic in company code 1000" can you explain this with solution mode…

Hi,

It looks like you do not have segment-related postings switched on in your configuration.

Check your Company Code settings under the Organizational Units config path in FI-CA config.

If you do not intend to use segments, do not specify a value in segments. If it is defaulting on your screen, check the CO Account Assignments configuration.

now i am doing in ehp4 initially i was created segments but it couldn't assigned any where as per my knowledge concern.. can you explain where exactly i have to for related this effects..

Segment not allowed as distribution characteristic in company code 1000

error is same while i saving error is same i checked in account assignment key level i din't specify any segment there can you suggest me how to resolve this problem..
