FOP's and Work Flow on the Closing of Notification

Dear All ,

I would like to ask you that , we are tiggering the FOP after the Notification closer, Can we use workflows to cater these FOP's or we have to use the FOP's

If any body have some good document on FOP's that will be agreate help and also comunicaional that FOP can be done by Function consultant or techncial consultant.
