farward posting

this is regarding Farward posting,what is farward posint?how we execute this to general ledger? Explain me with sap scnerio

Surya,

As FICA is a sub-ledger, one has to transfer the items to Gen Ledger i.e FI-GL. This is done in FICA using FPG1 <Ind> & FPG1M <Mass>. But before that one has to close the Recon keys either using FPF2 <Ind> or FPG4 <Mass>.

Surya,

You need to maintain entries in posting area 0100 <use FQC0>.

Here you have to maintain Cocd, Transfer Account, Posting Keys 40 & 50 <Dr/Cr respectively>
