Hi,

Does anyone know if it's possible to migrate Installations in parallel mode with emigall using external number range? Does it affect performance?

Thanks for your advice,

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

To migrate installations with an external numbering, you need to do the following stepts:

  • Create an external number range (transaction SNRO, object ISU_EANL)

  • In emigall, pass the installation number you want to use in the field ANLAGE

This should be perfectly possible in parallel!

On the performance: my guess is that it will not badly influence the performance. It might even improve performance since you don't need to read NRIV te create numbers. But that's a wild guess

Good luck!

Kevin
