Hi All,

Need Your help in below scenario, I have a requirement to estimate meter read as per below.

1- if last 6 month reads are actual then average of 6 month consumption.

Else

2- Average of last continuous actual reads.

Else

3 - multiply by 0.4

My billing cycle is bimonthly, I have define min portion as 300% in rate but system always going back 6 months even if all previous reads are esimated, this should only look back if all 6 month reads are actual.

Please suggest for 2nd condition.

For 3rd - I have defined that in period consumption.

Thanks in advance

Regards

Veer

Just got the answer on my own,

Point no.2 - can't be achieve through standard,It requires a Enhancement (EDMLELHA) to achieve it.

Point no. 3 - can be achieve by period consumption.

Hi Veer,

If you want only actual reads to be considered for estimation, you can set it at the following path.

Utilities->Device Management->Meter Reading->Basic Settings->Control Parameters for meter reading

Here you would find an indicator called 'ignore est'. If you set it, the system will ignore estimated reads for extrapolation.

Hope this helps.
