estimate meter reads in billing

hi guys

I want to activate the estimation of mr results in billing but system says "

No objects correspond to the selection criteria"

Is that so we can only use DPC portions for this or else we can even estimate the reads of normal portions also.

In my DPC the status is "READ"

Please check below fields are maintained correctly

1. Periodic consumption @ register level is present

2. What is the "Base period category" value at installation screen (previous period or periods from Prev year)

3. What is the min Portion value maintained at Register rate attached to the register (using Rate type & rate cat)

Hi Pankaj,

From which process you are getting this error message? Have you checked whether you have any open Billing Order ? Check in table ETRG or from txn ES32.

Is that from Billing run or from EL60/EL61/EL62?

If its from EL60 then you should have open Meter Reading/Billing Order, the Schedule Billing Date and Billing Procedure should match your selection criteria.

Also please provide message ID and number so that it will be easier to point out the issue (Message No. E9035?)

Hi Srini,

As Pankaj told he is using DPC value as "Read" then he can only estimate using EL28 tcode (meter read estimation) ... EL60 or EL61 only work with DPC value as "ESTE"

@Pankaj - please check you should not be estimating using EL60 or EL61 , then in that case definatly you will get error. or if you want to estimate consumption at the time of billing execution change your DPC value to "ESTE" at rate category.
