Hi Experts,
While creating a BBP through EA61 , I get error -
Message class - EBILL_CORR , No. - 034 - Extrapolation is inconsitent for equipment & , register & .
I am creating BBP manually after move-in with Move-in date as 02.02.2012.
on MRU period end is 28.02.20XX.
Anyone knows why I am getting this error ?
Thanks in advance.
Nachiket.

Hi Nachiket,
Please check meter reading results in tcode EL31 for your contract. If any of meter reading status 2, you will get the above error while creating BBP. So change the meter reading status to 1 or 7 and then try. Please see the below screen shot.
Hope its useful.

Hi Rajesh,
Thanks for your response.
I checked EL31 .. none of the MR is having status - 2.
There is only one- which was at the time of movein.
Thanks,
Nachiket

Hi Nachiket,
Have tried by changing the movein read status to 1 or 7?
Because your meter reading had an overflow and the previous reading had none or too less quantity.

Hi,
Have you checked if Notes:
909301 - Overflow/termination when you simulate period of prev year or
1895896 - Extrapolation with device replacement: Performance / AH 540
may be applicable? If not, what does the meter reading history for the register look like?
cheers,
Janis

Hi,
system determines the extrapolated consumption based on previous consumptions.
The cause for the issue was previous MR was changed (reduced) manually.
So there was overflow in the new consumption calculation. which resulted in this error.
Only solution to it was to reverse previous period bills , adjust MRs and re-bill.
It worked.

Please check if the Move-in and Move -out reads have been entered in system

HI,
As Nachiket Gadad said, Please reverse the latest MR and change the difference to a least value,, then it will work.
Thanks
