Error in MDT. Not able to enter Country in BP or CO Address Data

Hi Experts,

I am creating MDT using template: NEWCUSTPOD

While creating, BP and Connection Object, I am not getting the fields to maintain Country. Therefore while executing, the system is giving me an error that country has not been maintained. (I am expecting Country to be available as a node for CO fields.

Hi Monis,

When creating a new MDT using standard MDT Category NEWCUSTPOD you should first activate the nodes and then click at the appropriate node to list the attributes, I hope you have already done this.

Now for your error, Connection Object node should definitely have Country attribute, ideally it will be after CITY1, can you please recheck your screen and try to scroll down to locate Country.

Example sequence:

POST_CODE1

PCODE1_EXT

CITY1

COUNTRY

TIME_ZONE

TRANSPZONE

Else you try to deactivate and activate the CO node, or try creating new MDT afresh, if that issue still exists then try creating CO from standard transaction ES55.

Thanks,

Srini

Thanks Srinivasan,

For some strange reason, I am not getting the following attributes for CO (I am only getting the ones you see in the screenshot. There is nothing else on scrolling below):

COUNTRY

TIME_ZONE

TRANSPZONE

I am using NEWCUSTPOD as reference. I am not getting country as an attribute for BP address as well. I have tried activating/deactivating.

The standard transactions are working as expected. Getting country and region as usual. Not sure if there is a setting which controls this.
