error creating device category

Hi Experts,

While creating device category, i m getting an error

ACCOUNTING_KEYS_READ_FOR_BWKEY : error creating material master record.

I hv maintained the help search table as well the material master.

Can smbdy plz guide me the corective measure regarding this?

hi,

did u create material using tcode mm01 before trying to create device category. material number has to exist before creating device category if the number range for the material is set to external. the details for storage location also has to be maintained while creating material.

I had created the material and maintained the storage location as well.checked the customising setting as well but still the same error is coming.

Check at OMS2 for ur material type.Which material type u have used?Are u also using goods movement processes?Please let me know..

Hello,

Yes, v r using the movement types and the setting has been done for the same.The material type is ZISU-isu material type.

donno whr the error is originating 4m.
