We are researching the possibility of implementing EDM specifically from a technical perspective. I am having problems confirming some assumptions First, is the EDM functionality actually a part of the Industry Solution UT? Is Enhancement Pack #2 required? Are there other requirements that should be considered such as support stack levels, usage types etc? Thanks!

Hi,
you need also to think, that you need RTP. Will you connect it with or install it together with e-commerce?
Make a hardwaresizing. What may help you is the SAP ALert. You need a firewallserver, a server for e-commerce and for EDM/RTP a licence if not there where changes in the past. contact SAP or look for that in OSS, there are also good notes to this problem.
So once again point after point;
1. License yes/no
2. e-commerce yes/no; if yes new hardware
3. CRM yes/no; dataflow from IS-U and e-commerce to CRM
4. hardwaresizing for EDM/RTP
5. look at OSS notes
6. install ( if already not in use) SAP Early watch, excellent tool
A EDM/RTP installation makes every time sense. See also the other parts on the marketplace and also under help.sap.com
