EG42 no change document created in CDHDR for changes in table EASTS

When using transaction EG42 to change tariff data for a device the change is saved and update is done in table EASTS. This should render a change document in table CDHDR for object ISU_EASTS.

Our problem is that this change documents sometimes fail, that is they are not created.

Anyone with the same problem and/or hints on how to correct it.

We have logged a problem at SAP support for this case and are waiting for there answer. The problem is that this error is difficult to reproduce but we are hoping SAP can find something for us.

When we have the result I'll post it here.
