1. Disconnection and device removal.
In SAP standard, device is not removed during the disconnection. But in India, device will be removed for some cases during disconnection.
Device cannot be removed once it is disconnected. Is there any other way to remove device if it is disconnected with out programming?
For this, I suggested to remove the device first and then do the disconnection at installation level. But in many cases, the client is removing the devices only after 2 months from disconnection time. They are also not ready to reconnect the service during device removal.
Any suggestions?

Hello,
I am not sure what release you are on but this functionality is available on release IS-UT 600.
Please check the release notes in the customizing pad spro:
SAP Utilities >Customer Service <Process Execution >
Disconnection/Reconnection:
Define Processing Variants for Disconnection Documents
--->
Device removal despite disconnection: Indicates that a disconnected device can be removed
Other possibilities you could try:
1) Note 772013 describes a possible workaround for you....
2) A device removal based on a disconnection order (without a disconnection entry) is possible
according to the OSS note 719611.
3) Same day device removal
1. If you reverse all disconnection activities, the time entries in the
table on the database are deleted. Then you can remove the device at
the same day.
2. After having implemented note 719611 into your system and after
having done the customizing changes explained in that note you can do
the following:
Reverse all disconnection activities except for the disconnection
order. After that you can start a disconnection entry: In the Tab
"order confirmation" in Field DisconStatus you choose the customer-
specific confirmation status you have created in the customizing by
applying note 719611. Then you save and confirm the next pop up.
Save again.
Now you should be able to remove/replace the device.
I hope this information is helpful.
Kind Regards
Olivia
