Hi experts,
I find small differences between a general ledger account's not assigned payments in R3 with a total balance of not assigned payments in ISU. Differences on this general ledger can occur because incidental reversals in the returns lot sill have to be posted manually in order to process the payments. In this case we see that there are not reversals to be processed in the returns lot.
There are daily smaller differences to maximum € 9,00, but in most cases smaller then € 1,00.
I also checked reconciliation key but there is no error in it. The transfers to general ledger are completed successfully without any error.
What could be the possible reason for these kind of unexplained differences in general ledger?
Thanks and Regards

Hi Dushyant,
Are you using rounding rules for currencies in IS-U.
Rounding rules ensures that the amounts that result take into consideration the currency unit specified, provided it is also considered when amounts are entered manually.
The payment program analyzes these specifications for determining the cash discount and rounds the amount according to your entries
Check the config SPRO-->Contract A/C AR &AP-->Basic Functions-->Postings and Documents-->Define Rounding Rules for Currencies
Also check posting areas 0040 and R402.
Hope it helps...
Thanks,
Amlan

Hi Amlan,
Thanks for your reply.
I have checked rounding rules in SPRO. also checked posting areas 0040 and R402 . They are fine.
Also the difference between GL account balance and spool file amount(when checking the job in sm37) has increased significantly high.
Could you please tell me if there are other areas to explore.
Thanks
Dushyant
