Difference between FQEVENTS and BTEs in FI

Dear all

I searched a lot in the forum as well as on internet, but cudnt get a proper answer.

Can anyone explain what is the difference between FQEVENTS and BTES...I know the working of both and usage of both..

But then why do we have these two instead of one ?

Nilesh:

They are developed and included in different application areas. FQEVENTS is used by FI-CA for customization. BTE are specific to core FI.
