Dependent validation for control check relationship

Hi,

I need to map a requirement where one meter having two registers should have the same reading within a defined percentage. Any deviation should result in an implausible read.

I have configured a register relationship at the register group level with dependent validation 02 (contol,check) and validation group 004 but different readings do not result in implausible reads.

Could anyone let me know the step wise approach for doing this or where i might have went wrong.

Hi Monis,

Each Dependent Validation Group works with different Validation parameters. In your case Group is 0004 which is not dependent on the % deviation.

You can check once by debugging the standard FMs which one is triggered and the input/output.

ISU_VALID_DV02_CONTRRELSHIP

ISU_VALID_DV03_SERIALSWITCH
