deletion of serial number create against wrong material number

Hi Experts,

there is serial number create against wrong material number, we need to remove this serial number .

please suggest some option by which we can resolve this issue.

Hello Naresh,

you can change the worng Material number to the right material number.

please do the following:

1- use transaction IQ02 (change material serial number: IS data )

2- in the menu, choose edit --> special serial no. functions --> change material number.

3- enter the New material numbe.
