Define functional module for VKONT

hi experts,

While posting in FP09 return lot i am getting error like

DEFINE FUNCTION MODULE FOR SELECTION CATEGORY VKONT

msg no.>4702

Please give valuable suggetions.

Ranjith:

You cannot use contract account as the selection category with returns.  You must use document number.  If you want to use account, then you have to define your own logic to determine the document based on account.  The message will have link to the IMG where the FM can be assigned.

you have to use document number only because based on document number only we can process or select the line items to post return lot in fp09.

     Already i processed with document number(BELNR) also but i got same error

Not sure where you are getting BELNR - since FICA document is OPBEL. 

The settings are made in Open Item Management > Specify Selection Categories.
