Hi All,
In our project, we are maintaining synthetic profiles as load profiles in installations for residential customers. In EMIGALL, there is a standard object LOADPROF for load profile creation and assignment. We want to use synthetic profiles as load profiles, but these profiles can not be created through this object (LOADPROF). The PROFHEAD object can not create synthetic profiles as well.
We can assign synthetic profiles to installations through LOADPROF, but can not create these.
Any help/suggestions/experiences on migrating load profiles or synthetic profiles and objects LOADPROF will be appreciated.
With our current understanding of the above, we are planning to create synthetic profiles through LSMW and use LOADPROF to assign these to installations.
Thanks,
Kunal.

Each synthetic profiles represents a usage pattern.
Non-interval measured customers that have a similar pattern are assigned the same synthetic profile in their installation.
Therefore you normally only have a limited amount of synthetic profiles. In companies where I've worked it was always less than 10 different synthetic groups.
So to me it is correct what you plan on doing now.
Create your synthetic profiles before migration and then assign the correct synthetic profile based on business defined rules.

I want to support you migration plan.
BUT you can make little trick))..
Try assign not synthetic profile but historical profile. At the installation it's possible to make. Settlement procedure still working as usualy. UF will be calculate as usualy.
But in this case you lost a sense to use synthetic profile properties (day type, season type and etc).

Thanks for the response.
Do you mean to say that customers with the same usage pattern, say 10000 installations can have the same synthetic profile assigned to them ? If yes, how will the usage factor be calculated as all these installations will be billed on different dates and with different consumptions?
Please clarify.
Thanks,
Kunal.
