Hi all,
I know that we can have multplie contracts under one Contract Account. Also, I know that we have company code field in Contract account and contract.
My Question is, Can we have multiple contracts with multiple * Company codes * under same contract Account. ?
Ex:
Contract Account - CA1 - (Company code 2000)
Contracts under the above CA1:
Con1 - 3000
Con2 - 2000
Con3 - 3000
Can the above example be practically achived ?
Regards,
Sai

Yes, Its possible and its common in a deregulated market / Dual contract model ( One contratc for Distribution and one for Supply under a single Contract account )
This helps when a customer switches to alternate supplier only the Supply contract is moved out and moved in for a new supplier which is configured as different company code.

Neelima,
Thanks for your reply, Theoritcally I can understand what you have explained. Could you please explain the same in SAP terms, preferrably with some examples.
I assume you have clearly understood the scenario I mentioned in my question.
Thanks,
Sai

Sai:
The contract account needs to have a company code group to which all of the desired company codes are allocated. Then the contracts with each of the different company codes can be allocated to this account via movein.

bill.
