Hello,
I need for my client to put in place quaterly adjustement process.
So I had read all OSS notes about this matter but no one explain the end to end process with all details.
Does anybody have guidelines to put in place this process (with RSADRLSM02, RSADRQU1N, RSADRQU2, RSADRQU3...)
Because we have some issues with these programs and how/when execute them.
Thanks
Mathieu

Hi Mathieu,
Following 3 programs for Quaterly adjustment - RSADRQU1, RSADRQU2, RSADRQU3 which is sequentially executed to adjust the address according to changed regional structure data(changed data can be the result of renaming streets).
Quarterly adjustment consists of two main parts:
1) Update of the postal reference data in the SAP regional structure after the data has first been imported or created. The data is updated in two ways:
a) Regular import of current data by means of standard report RSADRLSM02 (once every quarter, six months, or year, depending on the type of data)
b) Manual modification of the reference data by using corresponding T.Codes SR11, SR21, and SR31.
2) Correction of the addresses existing in the system according to the new data, The addresses are selected and adjusted according to the new reference data using the 3 programs mentioned above.
Thanks,
Rakesh

Hello Rakesh and thanks for your answer.
Do you or anybody know what are the business rules used by theses Quaterly programs for updating ADRC addresses ?
I don't find a specification from SAP about Quaterly programs adn how to understand all ADRC updates.
Thanks
Mathieu

Mathieu:
Firstly - the use of these programs will change if you use data quality management.
You can find some information on help.sap.com for business address services
What do you mean by 'business rules' in this context?

bill.

Hello William,
Thanks for the link but I think I already read all notes / help about Quaterly.
I mean that I want to understand when an ADRC address will be updated or not for each functional case.
Ex : A post code is updated in a street section (by SR22 or RSADRLSM02).
All ADRC addresses with in the street section updated will be updated with the new post code ? Or only ADRC addresses "checked" ?
Thanks
Mathieu

Mathieu:
You have control over that in step 1 of the process. RSADRQU1 has the option of defining the scope for the update.

Hello William,
Ok, i know that I can choose in RSADRQU1 the type of execution :
- Checked adresses
- Unchecked adresses
- All adresses
But I don't find any document which explain how quaterly update works :
What are the data mandatory to update an street section ?
What are the updating rules for each case : insert, update, detele for a city, street, street section, post code, po code, ...
Thanks
Mathieu
