blocking an istallation for moving-in

Dear,

In Sap/ISU it is not possible to delete installation created by mistake.

Is there a way to block this installations for moving-in?

Sorry Kalpanashri,

with the transaction EG50 it is only possible to reverse devices.

I'm looking if there is a way to block an technical installation for moving-in.

Hi, It's not a very elegant solution, but it may work.

You can mark this installation with a certain authorization group, and make sure that nobody who can make move-in, has it.

Hello Karel,

If u have just created an installation then try changing the time dependant data. Change the validity From date to 20.12.9999.

just try this once........

create a move out for that and again create a move in

Hi

You can block the installation by:

1. create a move-in with a "dummy-customer"

2. create a move-out with a "reason for move-out without move-in",

this will block the installation for future move-in's.
