Billing VS Technical Installation

I am a new user to SAP utilities and am having a hard time understanding the difference between billing installation and technical installation. How would I be able to tell if a device has been installed technically only and how would I be able to tell if a device has been installed for billing only. Which T-codes would I use? Thanks for any help.

Hi,

EG33 - Technical Installtion - When device is installed to connection object. When doing this no billing attributes are attched to device. And you will not be able to see device at instalaltion.

EG34 - Billing Installation - When device is installed at Installtion. And device is made billable by adding all billing attributes.

EG31 - Full installtion. Both of the above.

In Technical Installation Device is connected to Device Location

In Billing Installation Device is connected to Utility Installation.
