Avoid move in charges for owner move in

Dear Team,

we have system parameter 'post move in charges at contract level'..

we noticed that system keeps charging service connection fees for owner move ins as well. we can see in the sap standard code that it is reading charge type MI and charging the amount found in the fica configuration. however we can not find anything else regarding owner movein.

further analysis show that there is FM for event R880. we finally decided to copy this FM into ZFM and check the flag automatic owner movein ( one of the import parameter of this FM ). if it is not initial, skip the call to the FM which will post the charge.

is this right approach to avoid charges of owners move in. Please help.

Hi Praveen,

Looks like you are in the right direction, were you able to achieve what you wanted with that even R880? or are you still waiting for any suggestions? if so please update your question with the error you are facing.
