Authorization Object for Meter Reading Reason

Hi,

Please guide about the authorization object which is responsible for Meter Reading Reason.

Actually we want to restrict the users from reversing to reverse only MROs with MR Reason '01'.

Please guide how can we acheive the above mentioned requirement.

Hi,

There is no such standard authorisation object for MR reason. During reversal of meter reading standard SAP program checks whether the user is authorise to reverse the MR result for that MRU through authorisation object E_MRD_UNIT. There are also other two authorisation object E_MR_DOC and E_MR_DOC1 which are checked in tcode EL37.

Please exeute the tranasaction SU21. You can find all the authorisation objects used in IS_U. In the tcode assignment tab you cannsee all the authorisation objects used for a transaction.
