AuthoriZ Group Field Customization Path for Installation in SAP ISU

Hi,

     

My Requirement is Based on Authoriz Group Field Value in Installation we have to Put some Authorization Restrictions, but i am Unable to Find path where i can Configure in SPRO under SAP Utilities.

Please Guide me. Thanks.

Hi Karthick,

As per Standard SAP, using the authorization group at the Installation level, you will be able to segregate different types of Installation based on billing class or Installation types etc.

So, if you create an authorization group, say ZIN, for certain types of installation and assign it to the Auth object,E_INSTLN in the User role profile.

So only those Users, will be able to view/change the fields for those installation types. The remaining 

Users will not be able to view the installation in the first place.

I guess, what you are looking for is to make field changes at the installation level, based on authorization group. I think you need to create custom authorization object and perform code changes

in the User exit to cater your requirement.
