Hi, here is what I did so far.
1) Assigned Cost Element to a GL account
2) Created the following: profit center, cost center, and WBS element
3) Linked the 3 above (profit center, cost center and wbs element) by configuring a CO Short Account Assignment
4) Assigned GL account and CO Short Account Assignment to main/sub transaction using transaction code EK02
During invoicing (tran. code eA26), I got the error message u201CAccount xxxxxxxx requires an assignment to a CO objectu201D.
I already assigned the CO short account assignment to the GL in transaction code EK02. Why do I still get the error?
We are using SAP 46C and ISU 464.
Thanks.

Blumatin,
In ES22, have you assigned CO Object? Please check

Hi, the account determination ID is specified in the Contract of the Contract Account. And in EK02, the combination of company code, division, account determination id, main/sub transactions have the GL account (which was created with Cost element) and CO acc. assgmt.

Ok. in that case do ensure that Account assingment is made up of combination of PC & CC. Your EK02 config seems fine.
