Hello Colleagues,
We have Dunning creating Disconnection documents (in addition to Disconnection Notification Work Items) for AMI (smart)meters.
Question:
At what point in the process is the Enterprise Service for Device Status Change triggered?
We have tried closing the Disconnection Work item, and then entered a Planned Disconnection date in the Disconnection document (transaction EC86).
After the above steps, we go into AMI monitoring for the Device in question, but we dont see any outbound message for Device Status change.
If you know what I am missing, your feedback would be really appreciated.
The AMI Wiki says the enterprise service is triggered when the Disconnection document is changed with planned disonnection date.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Ivor,
In Transaction EAMIMON01 select Object Type 'Disconnection/Reconnection Order',I hope you would be able to see the messages.
SenderInterface : SmartMeterUtilitiesConnectionStatusChangeRequestERPCreateRequest_Out
Hope this helps.
Cheers,

Hi Rakesh,
Thanks for your response.
I have already filtered by Disconnection/Reconnection orders, there are no messages.
In the mean time, I have asked our Basis supoprt team to confirm or apply the following 2 SAP correction notes:
991187
1586387
Hopefully one of these will fix this problem.

Hi Ivor,
You need to do the following in order to trigger status change service
1)Create Disc. Doc. EC85
2)Generate Discon. Order EC86 & save ( with or without work item)
3)Without Work item EC86 give Disc. Doc. no. & enter now double click on Discon order & execute either immediate disconnection
by pressing button or wait for planned date, on planned date this will automatically got disconnected & corresponding web service will be triggered.
if you face any problem then contact me.

Mohit

Hi Mohit,
Thanks for your reponse.
When I create a Disconnection document via Dunning with no Disconnect ice Notification, I am able to follow the steps you mention below.
The problem only exists if there is an associated Service Notification.

Hi Ivor,
In Case of Notification Required, you need to obtain the customer Approval. For This Please follow the below steps
1)Go to T-Code SE16 & Give Discon. Doc. No & obtain the work item.
2)Now T-Code SE37 & execute report 'Zdg_fica_approve' Give value of Disc. Doc. & Work item & Agreed date/Time
3)Come back to EC86 & trigger the Immediate Disconnection.
Hope this will help.
Thanks & regards,
Mohit

Hi Mohit,
Thanks for the suggestion.
When you refer to SE16 (and provide Disc doc number) which table would I be accessing?
Also, the function module 'Zdg_fica_approve' you refer to does not appear to be a standard one, I cannot find it in SE37 or SE38.
Perhaps you refer to a copy of a standard Notification approval program or report? If you know the name of the original, that would be very helpful.
Thanks and regards,
Ivor M.
