It's just around the corner, this year's Sapphire will take place in Orlando Florida on May 4-7, 2015.
As always, there will be exciting news coming from Sapphire, especially focused on S/4 HANA, and how it will impact the utilities industry.
Some key sessions I would like to highlight include:
Monday May 4 13:00 - 14:00 - SnoPud's Multi-Channel Journey
Snohomish Public Utility District, in a continued effort to modernize customer service systems, is deploying SAP’s Multichannel Foundation and framework to launch three new customer self-service service channels: IVR integration, Web Presence and Mobile extension of Web.
Monday 14:15 - 15:15 - Metropolitan Utilities District goes Mobile
M.U.D. has taken a step into the next generation by incorporating SAP SMP 3.0 (Work Manager) into daily processes. With backflow device maintenance, Field Services personnel is no longer concerned about back-office SAP transactions. Employees are armed with iPads and real-time information resulting in increased productivity and data availability.
Tuesday 12:30 -13:30 - ASUG SAP Utilities Influence Session
The ASUG SAP CRM for Utilities and Multi-Channel Customer Engagement Influence Councils are joining with SAP Influence to host an open session on the show floor in the ASUG Hub. Join this Design Thinking workshop to provide your feedback and ideas to SAP as well as meet other users and share your ideas.
Tuesday 13:30 - 13:50 - Transform your business with the Internet of Things
Discover how the Internet of Things (IoT) will transform your existing business operations. See how SAP HANA Cloud Platform supports the IoT by enabling enterprises to process large volumes of data generated by thousands of sensors to allow real-time and predictive decision making that can revolutionize your products and services.
There is much more on the agenda.
