
EY kicked-off the week during the "Asset Day" of our SAP Global Partner Utility week.
To face the energy transition requirements while coping with the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, Utility companies need to make their "asset system" more efficient, adaptable and resilient. In their session, EY presented their vision of the "Utilities network of the future" and how they supported clients to redefine their strategy and transform their operations to be ahead of the curve.
During this session, attendees heard how using intelligent automation and EY proprietary tools has accelerated Utilities’ SAP S/4HANA migration program and enabled them to become “intelligent asset enterprises”.
EY showcased several SAP-based EY solutions of particular relevance for network operators around fieldwork operations, predictive maintenance and regulatory reporting.
The second day focused on the transformation area "energy and markets". Atos, a leader in decarbonized digital services, shared some of the innovative experiences they are driving with Utility customers worldwide.
Attendees could learn how making SAP S/4HANA the heart of your digital core will enable deeper client engagement, new revenue streams, and slash deployment costs and time-to-market by as much as 50%. Atos demonstrated how they are helping Utility companies to achieve the digital agility needed to get close and stay close to customers.
Atos also showed how routine processes become opportunities for great customer experience - real-time intelligence, clear and accurate billing – are all possible now.

On the third "customer day", Accenture presented the latest new energy consumer report and a conversation with a leading Utility company to explore the unprecedented changes occurring in the energy ecosystem.
The session shared ways these challenges can be addressed with cloud technologies, such as SAP Cloud for Utilities, and provided actionable insights to help energy companies successfully navigate the rapidly evolving terrain, reveal future value and business opportunities and execute at scale.

Customer presentation EDP: An eCommerce approach for utilities
From service transformation and scheduling to field enablement and asset optimization, Deloitte is helping Utility companies apply SAP solutions in innovative new ways to become even more efficient, effective, and service-oriented.
Deloitte showcased their co-innovations with SAP and a wide range of Utility clients, and shared practical insights that can help Utility companies accelerate and improve their own efforts to become a Kinetic Enterprise – one that is built to evolve at the pace of disruption.

"Leveraging Innovative Technologies for driving New Business Streams in the Utilities Industry" was the focus topic of the fifth event and last but not least event day. Attendees could listen to a keynote session by TCS.
This was followed by a case study presentation by Australia's leading energy company, AGL’s innovative and scalable battery solution. With this solution, AGL is not only ensuring a sustainable future for the country, but also putting the power back into the end-consumers.
Attendees learned about TCS's transformation solution for SAP S/4HANA, TCS Crystallus, a set of pre-configured industry and business solutions, helping enterprises succeed in their digital transformation initiatives by leveraging SAP solutions for digital core and intelligent technologies.
A panel discussion featured senior executives from a Utilities company sharing their insights on how they are leveraging technology and innovation to drive new business models in the Utilities industry ... thus driving zero carbon journeys.
