Dear Utilities Community,
We have many activities on our agenda again this year, which we would like to share with you in our latest newsletter.
One of the next opportunities to meet us face-to-face will be between March 20-21, when we will be at the Future of Utilities summit in Amsterdam. This will be followed by our SAP for Energy and Utilities Conference in Seville between April 23-25. It’s our most important event of the year, offering the opportunity to engage with a diverse range of customers, partners, industry professionals, and SAP experts to stay informed about the latest trends and innovations in our industry.
In this issue of our newsletter, we are pleased to present our recently published roadmap for 2024 and 2025, which gives you a comprehensive overview of upcoming developments and innovations in energy management. We provide a status update about the SAP Continuous Influence session for SAP S/4HANA Utilities, where customers can submit improvements.
You can also read about the success of our customers. More customers and partners than ever before took part in the SAP Innovation Awards 2024 and submitted interesting pitches.
In addition to this, we are delighted with the success of Contact Energy in New Zealand, who mitigated risk in budgeting and financial planning processes. Alperia in Italy is using cloud infrastructure to reduce complexity and enable fast data-driven decision-making. The German Oberhessische Versorgungsbetriebe AG successfully transitioned to SAP S/4HANA to better respond to market transition. The Australian Endeavour Energy is driving innovations with the SAP Business Technology, whilst the British company Thames Water automated repetitive processes in retail and finance to increase efficiency.
Our SAP Utilities Community has moved to a new platform. Feel free to join our new SAP for Utilities group and follow our Utilities tag so that we can also connect and exchange ideas there.
