Dear Utilities Community,

On March 25, the SAP Utilities group came together to tackle COVID-19 challenges with utilities companies and SAP experts answering pressing questions and helping utilities with specific needs.

In this first session we covered impact of COVID-19 on utilities companies with SAP experts, what are the short and long term impacts. We reviewed how to configure ECC and disable dunning, additional fees in invoicing, and late fees in ECC to protect our consumers during these difficult times. We also reviewed how SAP Qualtrics Employee Experience can be used to track well-being of employees and field personnel. Understand resource availability, shortages and fulfill shortages with contingency labor using Fieldglass. Leverage Ariba Discovery to procure essential supplies and train employees on all SAP courses for free for next 3 months.

Please find here link to recording and slides.

Many thanks to Marc Rosson from Snohomish County PUD and Bhagya Subbareddy from SAP for bringing our utilities community and SAP together on this important conversation and to our presenters Anthony Sabatini, William Eastman, Matt Burgon, and Bobby Schudler.  #StrongerTogether as #OneUTCommunity.

To join this monthly webinar series please send a note to SAPUtilitiesNews. As requested by our customers, the focus of this meeting is on customer conversations, issues and enablement. It is not intended to be a forum for sales and services activities.

I would recommend to listen to this podcast with Stefan Wolf and Marc Rosson:

In addition to this podcast, we also had a SAP Industries Live series on LinkedIn with Tamara McCleary from Thulium and Stefan Wolf on May 13th.

You can watch this session also on-demand:
