Problem – There are 3 existing categories of a product. Company has launched new category. They want to add this new category listed with existing category. Now there should be 4 category displayed in the dropdown list in C4C.

Solution – New category can be listed along 3 existing categories in C4C by Adaptation. Steps are listed below-   

Step 1 :- Navigate to Customer > Accounts

Step 2 :-  open any existing account

Step 3 :- Click on user profile and Select "Start Adaptation"

Step 4 :- Select layout as "Master Layout"

Step 5 :- Go to Account page & click on edit button present on the header of account page

Step 6 :- Click on Overview and search for the field in which you want to add a new value.

Step 7 :- Click on edit button in the overview section

Step 8 :-  Click on the Edit option available on the right corner

Step 9 :- Add the required new value "Option 4”  in the list value table & mention language and description for the value - Save it

Step 10 :- Click on user profile and Select "End Adaptation"

Conclusion - After completing all steps new value will be available in the existing fields in C4C.
