Hello Experts,
Hopefully this is a basic question. What processes are impacted by the MVKE table?
Thank you,

Hello,
MVKE is the table Sales Data for Article. You need entry in this table for article at sales organization and distribution channel level to (1) Capture Sales for the article (2) Retail price article (2) Distribute the article as Stock Transport Order from DC to Store.

Hello Venu,
Thank you for your response can you also explain what will occur if the date with in MVKE -VDBFL field(For Sale till) is adjusted to have a current end date for example the for sale from is 07/12/2011 and the For Sale Till is 07/13/2011 will STO's still be able to post if this date range has expired?
In this scenario the article is still has a valid listing period which has not expired.

Hello,
For registering sales, MVKE -VDBFL should be >= Today's date. For STO creation, the article should be listed for the site and for the delivery date determined from lead time.

Hello Venu,
Once again thank you for your response, what I am trying to understand is the impact of changing this date to today's date for Pre-pack articles so that they will not be passed within our WP_PLU03 IDocs. Since we do not sell Pre-packs in our stores the consideration of registering sales for them is a non issue. Although I am concerned what will occur if this date has expired as an STO is attempting to be performed will this stop the process?
Thank you,

Is the records on the MVKE table dependent on actual sales data? Means, if no sales data for a Finished Good product sold to a Sales Org or Dist Chnl, that data will not be present in the table? Or is it the other way around that when creating a Product master data, Sales Org or Dist Chnl is a required field to save and once done it will then be reflected in MVKE?
