Wrong Key Date in Key Figure Report

I have created Key Figures for Posting Data with Fiscal Year set as # (use input). My master data (Funds Ctr, Commitment Item) is year dependent and My fiscal year variant is July - June. When I use the key figure in the key figure reporting tool (program FMKF_REPORT01), the data is displayed but returns error FI 527 (No matching funds center found)

when I double-click to drill down. The key date populated is the current month and day but the year is equal to current year +1. If I change it to today's date, the RFFMEPGAX report is correctly displayed. Does anyone know where the incorrect date is coming from?

FYI...I contacted SAP regarding this problem and they created Note 1537921 to solve my issue. If your fiscal year is not the same as the calendar year, this could be of interest to you. Thought I would share the solution.
