Wrong fund center determined in ML81N

System determines wrong fund center and display the error FMAVC 012 for budget access message in SES posting via ML81N. For example the cost object assigned is WBS 541.1504.61.10.10. As per derivation strategy (FMDERIVE) system is supposed to derive fund center 5411504 instead system derives 5431209 , since there is no enough budget in the wrongly derived fund center, system throws up FMAVC 012 with budget excess message. in FMDERIVE if I test with same data in test mode , it system derives correct fund center. But in ML81N it is wrongly deriving different fund center. WHY?

Hi,

Set a trace in FMDERIVE, then perform your activity. You will see the rule, based on what, the fund centre is derived.

Testing in FMDRIVE and performing a trace derivation might arrive to different results, as you can't make sure that during tests some data is not changed. Only via trace, you can have a more clear picture.
