Hi

i'm a bit lost with the different kind of attributes for LOIO/PHIO and the way they are managed ....

My understanding is there are 3 kinds of attributes : standard, free & instance. OK

what is the main purpose of each of them ?

"Standard" are for the repository, "Free" for the context & "Instance" for the buz object itself. Correct ?

if i want to add Z buz attributes to an object (a record or a doc), i need to add them as instance attributes in the LOIO & PHIO definition in DMWB ? correct ?

if i want them version independent, they have to be set at LOIO level ?

if they are set at PHIO level only, they will be version/variant dependent ?

Thanks a lot for feedback

Regards

SAP provides the manual on Knowledge Provider.

It is strongly recommended to read it before starting any customizations in DMWB.
