SECTION 3: GRIEVANCE TRACKING ROLES
NOTE: The Grievance Tracking system is intended for use by agencies that have employees represented by the master agreements. We will be training only those agencies. It is not our intent at this point to train all agencies to use the system, even though there may be agencies with grievance policies that apply to non represented employees.
Agency Grievances Administrator
Description: The Agency Grievances Administrator role is responsible for reading, writing, and reporting grievances information for own agency.
Activities: The Agency Grievances Administrator role will perform the following key activities in :
o Read and write information on grievances for own agency
o Run grievance reports for own agency
Prerequisite: It is expected that individuals assigned to the Agency Grievances Administrator role
o Understand the state of Washington grievances processes and Collective Bargaining Agreements
o Have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Criticality: Medium Role is responsible for more routine-oriented business tasks that are important, but not as important as mission-critical tasks.
Magnitude of Change: Medium Role exists today but will be different in the HRMS system.
Map to Existing Job Title(s): The Agency Grievances Administrator role is typically performed by the following state of Washington job titles:
o Labor Relations Manager
o Human Resource Manager
o Human Resource Consultants
Agency Grievances Inquirer
Description: The Agency Grievances Inquirer role is responsible for reading grievance information for own agency.
Activities: The Agency Grievances Inquirer role will perform the following key activities in :
o Run grievance reports for own agency
o Read grievances information for own agency
Prerequisite: It is expected that individuals assigned to the Agency Grievances Inquirer role
o Understand the state of Washington grievances processes and Collective Bargaining Agreements
o Have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Criticality: Low Role may use the system for information access only.
Magnitude of Change: Medium Role exists today but will be different in the HRMS system.
Map to Existing Job Title(s): The Agency Grievances Inquirer role is typically performed by the following state of Washington job titles:
o Agency Risk Managers
o Human Resource Managers
o Human Resource Consultants
o Administrative and Office Support staff

Grievances
Use
The grievances infotype (IT0102) can be used to track the type, reason and on-going status or disciplinary level of the grievance. Standard reporting is available which provides details of all grievances by PA/PSA, EG/ESG. In the SAP Best Practices for HCM USA the most common grievance types, reasons, and disciplinary levels have been configured.
Procedure
Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:

Role Menu L39 Construction Human Capital Management Installation Role K02: Personnel Administration Grievance reasons
Transaction Code /SMB74/B009_L39_01
To activate the BC Set, choose Activate.
On the Prompt for Customizing Request dialog box, choose a transport from the dropdown box and choose Continue.
On the Prompt for Workbench Request dialog box, choose a transport from the dropdown box and choose Continue.
If the Enter Variable Field Values dialog box displays, choose the Copy button to accept the default values and continue.
If the Activation Options dialog box displays, ignore the Table/View: Address Field is not supported message.
Select Expert Mode and choose Continue.
On the Generate Features screen, choose Continue.
On the Log Display screen, choose Back.
Choose Back to return to the installation role.
Result
