Grants Management Grantee Budgeting : Automatic Release of Budget Document

Hi,

We currently create GM Budget Documents in the Budget Phase 'Budget for Grant Award'. We have configured Budget Document Types for Budget Phase 'Budget for Grant Award' for both Budget Statuses 'Unreleased' and 'Released'.

However when creating a GM Budget Document, the system only allows us to choose the GM document types which are for status 'Unreleased'.

Is there any way we can configure the system to allow us to create budget documents in 'Released' status, or to automatically release the unreleased budget during posting?

Hello Paul,

Is there a reason why you configured the budget type for both Released and Unreleased statuses?

I would suggest that you create a 'Released only' budget type, and then your budget document will automatically be released.

I am not aware of any other ways of doing it...
