FM-BCS Periodwise Budget Blocking

Dear Expert Team

h1 We are implementing FM-BCS.

Our business requires the functionality of Blocking of Funds period wise . We have checking through Transaction Code FMW1 and have not found any field for posting period for blocking of funds.

We observed that funds blocking effecting on overall annual budget value of FM Objects; but not Periodically.

We request your valuable suggestion/reply to have the functionality of PERIOD WISE BLOCKING OF FUNDS.

Hi,

You can manage your period blocking via FMIR transaction for several operations in FM. If you want to manage your budget period-wise, then you can use 'budget period' object or work-around with other FM entity. Alternatively, you can manage periods via AVC strategies. These are the only posibilities to manage periods in FM via standard fucntionality.

Thank you for your reply.

We are looking Blocking of unused budget for period wise.

For example: We have budget for April 2011 of Rs. 10000; but Rs. 8000 only consumed for period April 2011. Now we want the balance Rs .2000 to blocked for the Period April 2011.

Please suggest.

Now we want the balance Rs .2000 to blocked for the Period April 2011.'-you mean 2000 should be block for consumption for another period?-if so then you can use avc period wise(but this functionality available in EHP4, using badi FMAVC_ENTRY_FILTER)
