Control exception at Fund level

Hi,

Fund Management availability control activated in the system. I dont require control for particular Fund centers and Funds.

I created derivation strategy and Tolerance profile separately for that fund but i am not able to differentiate between two profiles based on Availability control ledger due to year. Please guide me to do exception control for particular fund.

Hi,

I suppose in addition to your active tolerance profile, you have created another one in which all groups of activities are inactive. Also you have already assigned a tolerance profile derivation strategy to ledger 9H for a specific FY (In Spro Funds Mangaement > BCS > Availability control > Settings for AVC ledger > Assign tolerance profiles and strategy for control objects). What you want to do is add a derivation rule in the SAME strategy. If the exception is just for a few funds, the derivation rule can be as simple as: source origin = ACO_ADDRESS, source name = RFUND, target origin = TOLPROF, target name = TOLPROF. Then you maintain the rule value by assigning that tolerance profile for inactive checking to the funds you want to exclude.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I did in the same way but still Availability control is active for particula fund.

The steps i have done:

1- Defined one more tolerance profile ( path :BCS-AVC-edit tolerance profile), in whcih i have not given any usage % and made it inactive by checking the inactive check box.

2. Goto : SPRO-FM-BCS-Settings for availability control ledger -Define derivation strategy for tolerance profiles. Define a strategy in addition to the original and assign the above defined profile to the set of particular fund to which i dont want availability check.

3. This strategy for deriving tolerance profile also has to be assigned in Assigne tolerance profiles and strategy for control objects.

still i am getting error message for those funds. I dont require control for particular fund.

I have not done Budget address. Is it necessary to do this?

Hi,

Make sure that you overwrite the existing profile with the one which is derived by your strategy. You have to specifically state that the derived profile should overwrite the new value. You can also put a trace on derivation strategy for profiles and do your posting in order to see whether the conditions are fulfilled and the profile derived is the right one.
