Hello,
Using FI-CA, the F4 searchhelp is showing all the business partners also the onces which have a special Authorization Groups assigned.
The search-result should only list the BPs without a special Authorization Group.
Is there any object I can use?
It works fine for Contract Account by using the oject F_KKVK_BEG but I'm afraid there is no one for BPs.
Do you have an idea?
Thanks,
Gellert

Hi Gellert,
Did you run SU24 to check the available authorization objects for the transaction that you are using?
You will be able to use any of them to restrict the data showed.
Kindly advise.
Best Regards,
Vanessa.

Hello Vanessa,
thanks 4 your answer.
Yes, I checked SU24 and I know all the objects but there is none which get checked while using the searchhelp. The checks are "only" within transactions and does not limit the search results.
Best wishes,
G.

Hi Gellert,
Please, check whether the system works if you activate the implementation BUPA_F4_AUGRP.
In addition check the notes 559662, 674869 and 782927. Maybe the notes are already implemented but you can try then the implementation of the BADI (SE19). It should resolve your issue.
Best Regards,
Vanessa.

Hello Vanessa,
thank you very much for your answer. I think this can/will solve the problem. I have not tested yet because this will be a modification and I need approvals for that.
In the meanwhile I came across an other question, is there a way to limit the Search help for business partners? I do not want to allow user to search for bank details. Do you have any experience with limiting fields or whole tabs in the F4 search help especially for business partners?
Thank you very much + have a nice weekend,
G.
