After ECC 6 upgrade, customer not created automatically with BP (sponsor)

After our upgrade to ECC 6, when a BP (sponsor) gets created now, the customer is not being automatically created. Of course without the customer, the error message Sponsor xxxxxxxxx does not have a customer associated with it is received.

While creating the business partner, everything looks fine, in the company code section the customer is <Internal>. As soon as the save button is pushed, the Sales and Distribution data vanishes, the company code on the Company Code section vanishes and no customer gets created.

I have been reading through note after note but I am still not having any success....

Using the Postprocessing Desktop MDS_PPO2 as well as the synchronization cockpit, I was able to pinpoint the field errors.
