Today SAP has released SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain for Secondary Distribution (S4SCSD) 2.0 to customers. The end-to-end solution supports the order to cash process and the supply planning of downstream companies. It consists of SAP S/4HANA SDM (Secondary Distribution Management) and SAP S/4HANA RFNO (Retail Fuel Network Operations).

Two years after the first release and after continuous improvement with several Feature Packs, the brand-new release is now available. S4SCSD 2.0 has been built on S/4HANA 1809 and comes with many improvements for existing applications like a full-featured overview of service stations for Retail Fuel Network Operations as well as improved reporting for logistics processes related to oil and gas downstream. The most important innovation, however, is Integrated Dispatch Management for S/4HANA, a comprehensive and powerful solution for the scheduling of bulk transports.

Major innovations coming with the new release

  • Integrated Dispatch Management

  • Service Station Overview

  • Collective Order

  • Sales Document Overview

  • Purchase Document Overview

Details about innovations for S4SCSD can be found in the SAP Innovation Discovery.

Fiori Lighthouse apps

With this release, S4SCSD continues to adopt Fiori as the most recent UI technology to provide the best possible user experience for customers. Since they offer immediate business benefits, SAP selected both Integrated Dispatch Management and Service Station Overview as “SAP Fiori Lighthouse Scenarios in SAP S/4HANA Cloud and SAP S/4HANA“.

Early Adopter Care program for customers and partners

To ensure successful implementations and to support customers and partners as much as possible with installation and configuration, an Early Adopter Care program will be offered for the new release. Interested customers can learn more about the SAP Early Adopter Care Services on the SAP Support Portal or register directly for the S4SCSD 2.0 EAC program.
