BP Documents

Hello, I have created a mime/text document in the "Documents" tab of the "General Business Partner" role for a given BP.

I can manually check its PHIO and LOIO id via the BP transaction.

With the LOIO ID I can retrieve the document via de KPro content server. TO do that, there are several FMs in the DMS Programming Interface at the following address.

<a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/3c/4d26696ab411d3aece0000e82deb58/frameset.htm">http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/3c/4d26696ab411d3aece0000e82deb58/frameset.htm</a>

My problem is :

How do I manage to get the LOIO ID of one or more documents associated to a business partner number ?

I looked in BUT000 and there is no link to documents.

Any idea on how to determine document ID based on business partner number is welcomed.

Hi,

Chceck the function module BDS_ALL_CONNECTIONS_GET'. For business partner call this with

classname = 'BUS1006'

classtype = 'BO'

and assign partner number to object key of type BAPIBDS01-OBJKEY.

Assign points if it helps.

Thanks and warm regards,

Smita.

The documents are visible in transaction BP, role 0000 (general data) under the 'documents' tab.

I can access them via the abap by the FM SDOK_LOIO_FIND_BY_QUERY by specifying ISL_L_BP as documet class. But there is noway to specify the BP key in this FM.

When I tried to use BDS_ALL_CONNECTIONS_GET I do net see the same documents, I only retrieve documents created via transaction OAOR (Business Document Navigator).

I guess the documents in BP are not part of the BDS framework?

Any other suggestion welcomed.

Hi,

Instead of classname ='BUS1006', try using the classname = 'ISUPARTNER'.

Thanks and warm regards,

Smirta.
