VSR for module booking

Dear All,

We have following requirement:

A Program has 4 module groups from which a student is supposed to select two modules from any group.(Example: from group 1, 2, 3, 4 student can select one module from group 1 and other module from group 2 or he/she can select both modules from group 1 or 2 or 3 or 4.) . We are not able to write validations for the same. SAP is either allowing all modules to be booked or none to be booked. Kindly guide as to how to write a VSR for this scenario. Appreciate your help in this context in advance.

Hi Sandeep,

In addition to the information given by Rob, if you have activated ISHERCM_EXT_RULECHECK business function (you have to have ERP 6.0 running for this function if I remember well), you can define rules per program of study or per module group.

The rules then will apply to all the modules assigned to related program of study or module group.

In your case, you have to decide hierarchy level for rule definitions
