My company (Tomato System) is implementing SAP SLcM for 4th university targetting go live in Feb 2009. Prior SLcM implementation project was for Ssong-Shil University, and project went live in March 2008 very successfully in Korea.
Because some features of EhP package 4 (per SAP presentation doc) could be truely beneficial for university we are working with, so I am anxious to know the specific as soon as possible. If EhP4 will not be avialble for us to target version, I will have to develop "custom" SAP/Blackboard interface enither using SAP XI (PI) or RFC as interim solution which could be huge development worload/burden for nothing...
University will be implementing famous eLearning / e-education system so called Blackboard, so we are excited to know EhP 4 include LMS integrator ES besides other key features which will be very useful i..e post-event processing framework, attendance tracking.
Please, advise below:
1. When is official SLcM EhP 4 package release date?
2. Could SAP partner company get and review and test EhP 4 package ASAP?
3. Can we get detail EhP4 package documentation such as release note, training materials, etc?
4. My counterpart at Blackboard informed me of successful SAP/Blackboard integration story already?
Thanks in advance,
