Error while creating a Student Master

HI

using Tcode: PIQSTC (create student record) and while saving after updating tabs , we are getting error as" You cannot create a customer with Grouping CM01" and does not allow to save.

Can someone help us what configuration is missing to circumvent this. YOur response is much appreciated.

Hi Farhan,

Check out the assignment of the BP grouping which you're making to the student.

Path: SLCM-->Master data in SLCM-->Students-->Students as BP-->BP in student Admn-->Define standard BP grouping for students.

Here instead of using CM01, better use a new grouping created on your own instead of CM01(unless u have any specific requirement)

Note: this settings should have sync with BP settings, if you want to create the student automatically.(where the grouping which u use in students should be external and BP with internal number range with same number range)

path : SLCM -> Master data in SLCM -> students -> student number and object id -> define method for student number assingment  and change student type Numeric student number
