Assessment processing?

Hi,

How to execute the assessment process for a group of steudents.

I have created some admission application for a program. During audit details requirement profile is complete. The criteria of selection is a written exam. Assessment for admission exam is available. Even students are registered automaticallly for the assessment process. But I dont know how to process the exam & give scales to students.

We cannot create schedule assessment for admission audit. Then how do we process the assessment. If we use BSP application for it, then what are the steps.

I tried but its showing error message that "action is not possible; function is not released yet"

I have one more doubt what is the utility of admission profile & completion profile. How to use it.

In my case its showing completion profile complete but admission profile not created.

Ravi,

Let me clarify the terminology and functionality of admissions audits and assessments for you:

- The 'assessment process' is the admission audit process itself. It is not supposed to be some kind of exam. So, for all intents and purposes, Assessment Process for Admissions = Admissions Audit.

- For Audit Type 'Admissions Audit', there is ONLY 'Completion of Process' as a valid. There will never be 'Admission to Process'. That would only be used fro other audit types.

- If you need to record admissions exam scores, you could do that either as an Internal Qualification, or even and External Test Score. Either option will let you create an audit subrequirement which checks for a minimum score. Unless the student has a proper score recorded, the admissions audit will therefore not pass, and the student cannot be admitted.

Hopefully this clears up the issue for you. Probably what is confusing is that 'assessment' is a generic term. It is not equal to 'exam', although for a module completion, you might use an exam.

What version of Student Lifecycle Management are you using? Also, exactly what selection parameters are you using?

We are using SLCM Enhancement package EHP3.

The selection parameter I am using for Process dependent Audit are:

Assessment process

Admission test for undergraduate course

Admission audit

Completion to process
