Solved: Patient Creation

Hello one last question (before we go live now). While using NR16 we access patients using the variant screens we have defined (for the NV2000), but there's a gap if a user creates a new patient. For a new patient created from NR16 he is created with the standard SAP patient variant (instead of our own). Is there a setting we might have missed? We wish to impose the creation of a Patient and Case with our own variant. Again thanks for your help.

Hi Daniel,

you can define the admission variant to be used depending on the callpoint and depending on other parameters in the system settings.

Open the Hospital Implementation Guide and go to "Basic Settings -> Screen control -> Determine variant for Clinical Process Builder".

Here you need to define a rule for the callpoint "NR16" and assign the variant you wish to use in the "Work environment" field (the "Work environment type " is "Clinical Process Builder".

Actualy problem is solved. Not a standard solution, but should work to complete our tests for going live.
